Soon Jae is left alone after his wife, Gwi Ae, suddenly dies. His only son, Min Sik, tells him he will soon emigrate to Jakarta with his family and that Soon Jae will be coming with them. Meanwhile, Soon Doongyi, the ugly stray dog that his wife used to take care of, starts grabbing Soon Jae's attention. He takes him to the vet, where the veterinarian tells him to walk this dog every day. As troublesome as it sounds, walking the dog turns out to be more fun than he thought, so Soon Jae decides to take Soon Doongyi with him to Jakarta, but his family says he can't.
